Install it
Which app do you send email from? One-tap install exists for Gmail only, because Gmail is the only email service that lets an app set your signature. Everywhere else you paste it in yourself, which takes about a minute, and the steps are below.
Pick your app above to see the steps.
Gmail
Recommended Paste it in. It takes about a minute.
- Press Copy signature below.
- In Gmail on the web, open Settings → See all settings → General and scroll to Signature.
- Click Create new, name it, click inside the editor and paste.
- Under Signature defaults, pick it for new emails and for replies, and tick "remove the '--' line".
- Scroll down, click Save Changes, then send yourself a test.
Early access: one-tap install
Google is still reviewing Signet's Gmail connection. One-tap install works today, but until the review finishes Google shows a "Google hasn't verified this app" page first. To continue, choose Advanced, then Go to signet.email. Prefer to wait? The paste-in steps above do the same job.
Apple Mail on a Mac
- Press Copy signature below.
- In Mail, open Mail → Settings → Signatures.
- Select your account on the left, press +, and name the signature.
- Click in the big box on the right and paste (⌘V).
- Untick Always match my default message font, then choose the signature in the Choose Signature menu at the bottom. Send yourself a test.
On iPhone and iPad, Mail's signature setting is text only, so it can't hold the photo, and a signature set on a Mac doesn't sync to the phone. For a full signature on your phone, use the Gmail or Outlook app.
Outlook
New Outlook, Outlook on the web and Outlook for Mac:
- Press Copy signature below.
- Open Settings (the gear) → Accounts → Signatures (on the web: Mail → Compose and reply).
- Click New signature, name it, click in the editor and paste (Ctrl+V or ⌘V).
- Set it for New messages and Replies and forwards, then Save. Send yourself a test.
Classic Outlook for Windows: File → Options → Mail → Signatures → New, paste, and set the defaults. Classic Outlook shows the first frame of each animation as a still picture; everything else is identical.
Any other email app
- Press Copy signature below. It copies the formatted signature, pictures included.
- Open your app's signature setting and paste into its editor. If the editor turns it into plain text, it only supports text signatures.
- If the editor asks for a file instead, press Download HTML and choose that file.
- Send yourself a test.
